Turn Self In Program

Under this program, you may turn yourself in without posting a bond. You are required to bring $25.00 non-refundable fee for each warrant. *You can turn yourself in without being detained anytime or day.

• If you come in Monday through Friday between 12:00 am and 10:00 am, court will be the next business day at 9:00 am.
• If you come in Monday through Friday between 10:01 am and 11:59 pm court will be two business days at 9:00 am.
• Any warrants served 10:01 am Friday through Monday will have court Tuesday or Wednesday, if Monday is a holiday. (example: Saturday and Sunday)

This must be done in person at the Minnehaha County Jail at 305 W. 4th St. Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

 

This process involves filling out an information sheet and receiving a court date. Court dates will not be set on holidays. If you do not appear at this hearing a fail to appear warrant will be issued for your arrest.
